A downloadable game for Windows

ADOLEBITQUE was created for CAP3020 / DIG3715 at the University of Florida, Spring 2021. All work was done for educational purposes, and no profit has been or will be made.

About

In homage to early 3D horror games, ADOLEBITQUE is a survival horror game where players are stuck inside an infinitely looping hospital hallway and experience the decline of their environment from a perfectly normal place to a decrepit center of infection.

As the player, you must complete small tasks to be able to advance throughout the game, each task forcing you to confront the degradation of the hallway and your increasing proximity to infection and death. Complete with a plague doctor-inspired antagonist that wants nothing more than to keep you stuck in this infinite loop of a hospital hallway forever, ADOLEBITQUE is a haunting experience you won’t want to miss!

This game was created as a group project for one of our classes. The project creation period is now over, but feel free to leave feedback / help point out bugs, so that we can continue to learn and improve. Thanks for giving the game a shot!

I really don't know what to say, I just don't want to offend anyone :(

If you have any specific feedback, please let us know! We're all students, and constructive criticism helps us learn and improve :)

It was alright until the game stopped working.

apologies for the bugs! we’ve finally gotten through our finals and will now have time to go back and fix the bugs you guys have discovered. thank you for giving it a shot + letting us know where things went wrong!

That was really good, very fun. It was actually very creepy.

thank you for sharing your gameplay!

youre welcome;)

I thought this game was very good. I’m impressed at your ability to build tension and atmosphere in a game so brief. I admit, I didn’t quite understand the ending like I thought I would’ve, but the experience itself was pretty cool, especially given what looked to be limited resources. I can’t wait to see what you do in the future!

thank you for sharing your thoughts + gameplay! i will be sure to think more about how to effectively convey plot in the future. thanks!

good and cool

This was one of the best "PT style" games I've played so far! Really solid pacing, and a mysterious story that left me with even more questions. Fantastic work!

thanks so much for sharing your playthrough, it was fun to watch! i'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Nice! Enjoyed how the story was told in this.

thanks for sharing your gameplay! the door that wasn't unlocking for you, that the door to the respawn room in the on-fire hallway it looked like? we will get that fixed shortly, i apologize for the inconvenience!

SO SCARY

thank you for sharing your gameplay!

This is pretty fun, dude. I enjoyed checking out the weirdness going on around that place and the PT style is cool too. Thanks!

thank you for sharing your gameplay! i'm sorry you couldn't save fred lol

The premise of the game is interesting, the story however not so much, overall, frankly speaking, the game could have been better without the "looping hallway", P.T.-esc mechanic. The game is functional, even thou it has some minor bugs, but overall enjoyable based on gameplay, but, not very much story rich.
I would say, this was an amazing game, if I did not see that this project was worked by many people. At this point, you expect more from the game, especially with the engine like Unity. I loved the voice acting, loved the overall atmosphere and fire simulations, they were solid, the notes with on walls written text - not so much.
Again, the game is fun to play and spend time on, definitely needs to be checked out, it has a good vibe and interesting premise, although not so much for the story or character and also the monster, considering the fact that it's a team project.
This is good game, keep working on it and new improvements or updates would help, otherwise, just good, not great.

Thank you for the feedback! I'd love to hear more about any bugs you experienced.
